Databases

Your panel comes with its own MariaDB database server (MySQL compatible), already configured. Your servers create their databases on it (Minecraft plugins, websites, bots…) and you manage them with phpMyAdmin.

Create a database for a server

  1. Allow it: in the administration area, Servers → (server) → Build Configuration, set Database Limit (for example 2), then save.
  2. In the server, Databases → New Database tab: give it a name (for example plugins) and leave Connections From set to %.
  3. Pterodactyl shows the Endpoint (address and port), the database name (s1_plugins), the user and the password (eye icon). These are the details to enter in the plugin's configuration.

The address to use

The endpoint is an internal address such as 10.251.x.x:3306. It works from your game servers but not from the Internet: your database is not exposed. To look at it from your computer, use phpMyAdmin.

phpMyAdmin

Open https://your-name.nebus.app/phpmyadmin/ (the link is also on your panel's page in the client area) and sign in with the user and password of a database, as shown in the server's Databases tab. Each user only sees their own database. You can browse tables, run queries, and import or export SQL files (up to 64 MB).

Managed by Nebus

The database server (Administration → Databases) is created and locked by Nebus: it cannot be changed or deleted, and you cannot add another one. It does not use your plan's RAM.

Databases are stored on your panel's disk and are deleted with it. Pterodactyl backups do not include databases: export them regularly from phpMyAdmin (Export).
