Users and access
Invite your friends or your team without giving them your password. Everyone gets their own account, with the permissions you choose.
Giving access to a server
This is the most common case. In the server interface, Users → New User tab: enter the person's e-mail address and tick their permissions (console, start/stop, files, backups…). They only see this server.
If the person does not have an account on your panel yet, one is created automatically and they receive an e-mail to choose their password.
Creating an account
Administration → Users → Create New: e-mail, username, name and, if you wish, a password. Without a password, the person receives an e-mail to choose one themselves.
- Administrator: No for a player or a moderator. An administrator has full rights over the panel, including your servers and your accounts.
- You can also make an account the owner of a server (Server Owner): it then has full rights over that server, without being an administrator.
Panel e-mails
Your panel sends its own e-mails: account creation, forgotten password (Forgot password? link on the login page), being added to a server, server installed. They are sent from no-reply@nebus.app, with your panel's name (your-name.nebus.app) as the sender. The content of these e-mails is Pterodactyl's, in English.
Sending is handled by Nebus: the Administration → Settings → Mail tab is not available, and the mail server cannot be changed. If an e-mail does not arrive, check your spam folder.
API keys
For your own tools (Discord bot, website…), each account can create access keys in Account → API Credentials.
Nebus uses its own API key, invisible in Administration → Application API, to manage your panel (installation, updates). There is nothing for you to do: it can neither be viewed nor deleted, and your own keys are not affected.
